FEA
Federal Enterprise Architecture
The Federal Enterprise Architecture consists of a set of Reference Models that are used by the OMB (Office of Management and Budget) to 'translate' architecture components into a common language. When preparing an Exhibit 300 (for budget requests), an organization must link its high level architecture objects to the appropriate Reference Model component.
"To facilitate efforts to transform the Federal Government to one that is citizen-centered, results-oriented, and market-based, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is developing the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), a business-based framework for Government-wide improvement."
