DoDAF
Department of Defense Architecture Framework
The United States Department of Defense has invested in the development of an EA framework specific to their needs. Staring in 1996 with the C4ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, and Reconnaissance) Architecture Framework, the documents, relationships, and specification has evolved into DoDAF 1.0, which was officially signed into existence in February 2004 (see Memo link below). The standard for documentation for all Information Technology projects and acquisitions, the DoDAF has become an integral part of any systems, software, or business engineering task within the DoD.

Due to the complexity and importance of the DoDAF, EA Frameworks, LLC has developed a detailed analysis to assist our customers in the understanding of this framework.
DoDAF 2.0
The DoDAF specification continues to evolve, and in December 2004 the DoDAF working group initiated the evolution to the next version. As a member of that working group, EA Frameworks, LLC is up-to-date on the 'State of DoDAF ', and can provide insight to our customers on where DoDAF is headed.
